I woke up every single morning to view the stun sunrises while staying in Laie, Hawaii
at the Laie Inn.  The Inn was functional, served complimentary breakfast and was in a great location, city bus stop was right there and for $2.25 and a free bus voucher.
I was able to ride all the way into Waikiki on a 90 minute ride, enjoying the scenery and the local residents.

A McDonald's right next door, as was the Polynesian Cultural Center. Turtle Bay Resort was up the street about 15 minutes drive.
